boliche is a straightforward invoicing app, built to be as simple as possible while still giving you useful visibility into your accounting. It does the essentials well and leaves the rest out on purpose.

Why it exists

In 2027, Spain's VERI*FACTU requirements become mandatory. Every business—freelancers and small companies alike—will need a signed digital tool capable of sending invoices to the tax authority in real time. For most of them, that is a new and unavoidable cost.

boliche exists to give the majority a sane option: something simple, compliant, and as affordable as we can reasonably make it. Not everyone needs a powerful, expensive platform to send a handful of invoices a month, and they shouldn't have to pay for one just to stay on the right side of the law.

What boliche is—and isn't

We're honest about this: boliche doesn't try to be the best invoicing software, or a perfect, do-everything solution. It is deliberately low-cost, low-complexity, and high on simplicity. It is another option in the game for the businesses most affected by the new rules.

Because it was designed to be generic, it also works as a plain invoicing and accounting tool anywhere in the world—in any country where you don't need to automatically submit signed invoices to a tax authority.

The story

boliche started with a son trying to help his father's small repair shop. The tool the shop had relied on for years was being deprecated, and the looming compliance deadline made the problem urgent. Rather than push the business toward an expensive replacement, the simpler answer was to build something honest and affordable—and that became boliche.

Who's behind it

There is one person behind boliche: a software engineer with more than ten years of experience, based in Switzerland and working in cybersecurity, building this tool in his free time. boliche is operated as an Einzelfirma (sole proprietorship) in Volketswil, Switzerland—made in 🇨🇭, for 🇪🇸.
